Ned will carefully scrutinize the prosecution’s case to identify any and all available defenses you might have. The prosecution bears the burden of proving your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. Ned will hold the prosecution to that high standard in every case.

Edward (Ned) V. Curry, III has concentrated on criminal law and constitutional law since he was in law school. When he graduated from law school he clerked for Montgomery County District Court judges (2003-2004). Since that time Ned worked as a Senior Assistant State’s Attorney (2004-2014) before moving on to become a criminal defense attorney for one of the oldest law firms in Harford County, Maryland (Brown, Brown, Young), and later for Scheuerman Law, LLC.

Ned has tried many cases throughout the State in front of judges and juries. He is comfortable in the court room because that is where he has spent most of his professional life for the past twenty years.

Ned’s success in the court room and familiarity with judges and prosecutors throughout the State, has enabled him to get his clients fantastic results whether by trial or through vigorous negotiation.

Ned is on the board of Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association (MCDAA).
