Ned is licensed to practice in Maryland and before all appellate courts in the state, including the Supreme Court of Maryland.

Ned graduated Cum Laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003. While in law school, he worked as a Rule 16 student in the Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office, where he tried his first cases in the Howard County District Court.

Ned began his litigation career with Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office in 2004, trying District Court cases involving DUI, Drug Offenses, Assault, Domestic Violence, and Theft. Ned quickly advanced to the Circuit Court, where he handled more serious felony cases and presented charges such as Murder, Arson, Armed Carjacking, Felony Gun Violations, and Felony Assault to grand juries. During this time, Ned was promoted to Senior Assistant State’s Attorney and led the office’s Burglary Unit.

After a decade as a prosecutor, Ned entered private practice with Brown, Brown & Young, one of Harford County’s oldest law firms. His prior experience and courtroom prowess made him the firm’s lead attorney for criminal and traffic matters, and he expanded his work to include civil litigation and personal injury cases.

In May 2023, Ned joined Scheuerman Law, LLC as a Director and highly experienced criminal attorney. He brought a reputation for dedicated advocacy, a willingness to take cases to trial, impressive win record for the cases he tried, extensive litigation skills, and strategic approach to complex criminal cases, including homicides.

While at Scheuerman Law, Ned also worked closely with the firm’s outside network of family law attorneys. He took numerous protective order and peace order cases to trial, achieving fantastic results for his clients.
